Ok, this is probably considered by many to be the most important thing to figure out when doing a business. I would exhort you to sit down if you have not up until this point and figure this out now. In the beginning its ok to do it for the time and money, but eventually you have to determine exactly what you will do with that time and money. You have have to get a reason inside that burns deep as to why you are doing your business, and get an emotional attachment to it. During the last few days I was pondering what I could give you that would be the defining thing that could help you in your business. I was thinking about what specific training I could give you that would take your business to the next level, and with out a doubt, my mind came back to personal development. You see now that I have started this blog, I can give you all the training in the world, all the keys to building a thriving and profitable empire, but if you don’t get your mindset and philosophy correct, none of that will matter. Success in business hinges on one thing, and that is your ability to get better at what you do, and your ability to improve yourself in handling and building your business.
The first thing that you must do is to take full responsibility for your actions and not blame anybody else if you are not having success. The success of your business is based squarely on your mindset, and how you approach it that makes the difference. You see most network marketing entrepreneurs have never had a business before, they have never had to take full responsibility for there success because the business plan, and the direction of the company was always taken care of by someone else. They just went where they were told, did the job they were hired to do, and went home. Thats why there must be a shift in your thinking if you want to be successful. You must take yourself from the employee mindset, to the business owner mindset. This transition is not always easy, in fact it can be down right hard, but if you want time and money freedom, than this a necessity that must take place.
When I first started in network marketing about 5 years ago, I was naive in thinking that I didn’t need to develop myself. I have since learned that this is the only way I was going to succeed in anything that I set out to do business wise. Personal development is not a chore, its not something that should burdensome either. It is really just taking a good hard look at yourself, and being honest with yourself on where you lack, and where you need to get better. You must align yourself with others who have gone before you and and have been successful. When you do this, the strength of the one can pull you up to new heights.
There is a saying, and it goes like this:
“If you hang around 5 broke people, you are bound to be the 6th”
Basically what that means is that, you are the combined average of the 5 people you hang out with the most. If the five people you hang out with the most are all broke, you will be too. If you hang out with five people that are rich, you are bound to be rich also. You must learn to adapt the thinking patterns of those who are successful if you want to be yourself. Take the time to review where you are lacking, and come up with a game plan to get better in that area.
This training platform is only as good as your thinking behind it. I can really give you the techniques but its the mindset behind them that will energize them and make them work.
